Two Days After The Hearing, Cohen’s Testimony Gets Discredited By None Other Than Himself & Trump

President Trump took to Twitter Friday morning in a series of tweets where he blasted Michael Cohen and accused him of perjuring himself before Congress.

This comes amid revelations that Cohen was pitching a book weeks before being raided by the FBI. (Video Below)

President Trump wrote on Friday, “Wow, just revealed that Michael Cohen wrote a “love letter to Trump” manuscript for a new book that he was pushing. Written and submitted long after Charlottesville and Helsinki, his phony reasons for going rogue. Book is exact opposite of his fake testimony, which now is a lie!

The prospective book was allegedly supposed to be laudatory and not very critical of the president.

Cohen’s blasting of Trump’s character during the hearing, however, is in stark contrast to a book pitch, which the Daily Mail revealed late Thursday evening. The book pitch was about “understanding” the Trump mindset and appeared highly laudatory of the president, per The Daily Caller.

Cohen’s book proposal came in January 2018 and did not offer any of the criticism of Trump. He was reportedly offered nearly $750,000. “Everything he wanted to say about Trump was positive,” one publisher who was pitched on Cohen’s book told The Mail, adding, “even in our meeting, he was glowing with praise for the president,” per The Daily Caller. President Trump continued on Twitter, “Congress must demand the transcript of Michael Cohen’s new book, given to publishers a short time ago. Your heads will spin when you see the lies, misrepresentations and contradictions against his Thursday testimony. Like a different person! He is totally discredited!”

The proposal went nowhere after Cohen was raided by the FBI and later pleaded guilty to the U.S. Southern District of New York on multiple felony charges.

When asked Wednesday during the hearing, Cohen couldn’t commit under oath that he has not or will not pursue a book or movie deal based on his experiences working for the President. Further, he could not commit that he will not pursue upward opportunities to provide commentary for a major network with his experiences working for the President. (Video Below)

President Trump didn’t stop there and called the obvious plans obstructionist Democrats have up their sleeves.

The President wrote, “Oh’ I see! Now that the 2 year Russian Collusion case has fallen apart, there was no Collusion except bye Crooked Hillary and the Democrats, they say, “gee, I have an idea, let’s look at Trump’s finances and every deal he has ever done.”

Then, he put his foot down and declared, “Let’s follow discredited Michael Cohen and the fraudulent and dishonest statements he made on Wednesday. No way, it’s time to stop this corrupt and illegally brought Witch Hunt. Time to start looking at the other side where real crimes were committed. Republicans have been abused long enough. Must end now!”

Trump concluded by asking, “Michael Cohen’s book manuscript shows that he committed perjury on a scale not seen before. He must have forgotten about his book when he testified. What does Hillary Clinton’s lawyer, Lanny Davis, say about this one. Is he being paid by Crooked Hillary. Using her lawyer?”

Reps. Mark Meadows (R-NC) and Jim Jordan (R-OH) caught Cohen lying under oath about foreign entities and more. They sent a letter to Attorney General William Barr for perjury and knowingly making false statements before the Committee at Wednesday’s hearing.
