Former Arkansas Governor, Mike Huckabee, and Salem Radio nationally syndicated host, Larry Elder, joined host Sean Hannity on Wednesday.
The panel weighed in on the growing radical Democrat’s fairytale fantasies. Further, they pushed back at Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), who is pandering to the far left and her seemingly low-informed constitutes. (Video Below)
During a campaign event this week, Gillibrand gave a fiery defense of migrants who are currently living in the U.S. illegally and called for “comprehensive immigration reform.” Per Fox News.
“If you are in this country now, you must have the right to pay into Social Security, to pay your taxes, to pay into your local school system, and to have a pathway to citizenship. That must happen,” Gillibrand said.
During the segment Wednesday evening, Hannity asked, “Doesn’t a sanctuary state or city Governor– aren’t they aiding and embedding criminal activity? Isn’t this a case of rewarding illegal activity? And if we only pay attention to laws we want, can we have a system of laws?”
Mike Huckabee responded to Hannity and joked sarcastically, “Sean, you are so outdated! You’re gonna have to get in the groove, man.” (Video Below)
“Don’t you know that if a person comes here illegally….. let’s not only give them Grandma’s Social Security, let’s toss in a car and maybe rent for a nice home!” Huckabee continued.
“I’m just amazed that people are applauding this kind of stuff.” He said of Democrat’s radical ideas.
Huckabee added. “I hope Kirsten Gillibrand has to go out and talk to people in their 70’s who can barely afford food and tell them they’re going to not get their Social Security raised because we’re going to be giving it to people who broke into this country illegally. I can’t wait to see whether she gets applause in a room filled with retirees living off of Social Security when she makes that ridiculous proposal.” (Video Below)
Larry Elder chimed in and said of Gillibrand’s pandering and asked, “And Governor, I’m surprised you’re so stingy. How about a trust fund? How about throwing in a couple of Omaha steaks?”
He listed off a number of things that illegal aliens are able to do in sanctuary states such as in-state tuition, drive around freely, and even obtain a license to practice law.
“This is what they’re doing Sean, they’re putting the welcome carpet down there to attract more illegal aliens and I presume in the hispanic votes, but there’s a real question of whether or not that’s going to work.” Elder said.
