Former FBI Director James Comey took more jabs at President Trump in a recent New York Times op-ed, where he stated, “Mr. Trump eats your soul in small bites.”

He also claimed, “Mr. Trump makes everyone a co-conspirator to his preferred set of facts, or delusions.” This was in reference to his belief that Trump is manipulating Attorney General William Barr.

Mike Huckabee and Joe diGenova both had an opportunity to respond to Comey, while sitting down with Laura Ingraham on Wednesday evening.

Huckabee said, “First of all, he’s dead wrong about Donald Trump. Donald Trump does not eat people’s souls in small bite. He takes it one great big chomp and he’s over and he’s done with it. It’s one of the reasons he is President because he does know how to take on an adversary.”

He said Comey has a lot of explaining to do and he cited his leaks and lies. And Huckabee said that he isn’t out for revenge, but is much in favor of justice to those, like Comey, who he thinks abused their power.

DiGenova then got his turn to take a swipe at Comey, when he began by saying, “James Comey, America’s dirty cop, ate the soul of the FBI. He destroyed the FBI.” Video Below

He then held up the 2017 FISA court ruling that determined they were extensively lied to by Obama’s DOJ and FBI.
