Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters went on a Twitter tirade in reaction to rising tensions between the U.S. and Iran.

In one tweet, Waters questioned if President Trump has an ulterior motive behind the Iran conflict and suggested that it could all be part of a “diversionary tactic” to overshadow an impeachment inquiry.

In another tweet, Maxine said President Trump doesn’t deserve any credit for opting not to carry out a recommended strike in retaliation for Iran downing down a U.S. drone, which reportedly saved an estimated 150 Iranian lives.

Maxine stated, “Trump, you get no credit for so-called stopping the strike against Iran.”

“Why was the unmanned drone in Iran’s airspace? Why the surveillance? Don’t provoke and then pretend innocence,” she said.

Congressman Dan Crenshaw was appalled that Waters would say such a thing and fired back after reading her tweet directed at the President. See Below

In a reply to Rep. Waters, Crenshaw said, “This is a shocking comment from a House Committee Chairwoman. She is literally repeating the lies of the Iranian regime. What a disgrace.”
