During a joint news conference on Wednesday with President Trump and the President of Finland, Sauli Ninisto, the Commander in Chief answered a question from the press pertaining to the Ukranian drama.

Fox News’ John Roberts asked President Trump about a report from The New York Times, in which the Times reported on Wednesday that Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) “learned about the outlines” of the whistleblower’s complaint “days before” it was filed.

A spokesman for House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., acknowledged Wednesday that the whistleblower alleging misconduct in the White House had reached out to Schiff’s panel before filing a complaint — prompting President Trump, in an extraordinary afternoon news conference at the White House, to accuse Schiff directly of helping write the document, as reported by Fox News.

“It shows that Schiff is a fraud. … I think it’s a scandal that he knew before,” President Trump said holding up the report from The New York Times. “I’d go a step further. I’d say he probably helped write it, that’s what the word is. Just happened, as I’m walking up here, they handed it to me. And I said, ‘Whoa! That’s something, that’s big stuff. That’s a big story. He knew long before, and he helped write it too. It’s a scam.”

“The whole thing is a scam. The Mueller deal was a scam. The Russian collusion was a scam. You can ask Putin, nobody’s been tougher on Russia than Donald Trump,” he added during the news conference.

“Like other whistleblowers have done before and since under Republican and Democratic-controlled Committees, the whistleblower contacted the Committee for guidance on how to report possible wrongdoing within the jurisdiction of the Intelligence Community,” Patrick Boland, a spokesman for Schiff and the House Intelligence Committee, told Fox News. “This is a regular occurrence, given the Committee’s unique oversight role and responsibilities. Consistent with the Committee’s longstanding procedures, Committee staff appropriately advised the whistleblower to contact an Inspector General and to seek legal counsel.” (Continued Below)

Before the news conference, President Trump described the Democrats’ inquiry as “BULLS— on Twitter,” and he also mocked Schiff as a partisan “lowlife.” The President zeroed in on Schiff for reciting a fake version of a transcript between Trump and Ukrainian President Zelenksy, only to later backtrack and acknowledge that it was a “parody.”

“The Do Nothing Democrats should be focused on building up our Country, not wasting everyone’s time and energy on BULLSHIT, which is what they have been doing ever since I got overwhelmingly elected in 2016, 223-306. Get a better candidate this time, you’ll need it!” the President declared on Twitter Wednesday.

“Adam Schiff should only be so lucky to have the brains, honor and strength of Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. For a lowlife like Schiff, who completely fabricated my words and read them to Congress as though they were said by me, to demean a First in Class at West Point, is SAD!” Trump expressed. Brit Hume posted The New York Times article and wrote, “This puts the whole impeachment inquiry in a new light. There’s no getting around the appearance that collusion-truther and Trump antagonist Schiff was a partner in this from the start.”

We leave you with Schiff, who said he and staff have “not spoken directly with the whistleblower”.
