Hunter Biden interviewed on ABC’s “Good Morning America” that aired Tuesday, in which he broke his silence since his overseas business dealings came under the radar.

He insisted that he did nothing improper while he served on the board of a Ukrainian gas company, but admitted accepting the lucrative position was “poor judgment” on his part.

“I know I did nothing wrong at all. Was it poor judgment to be in the middle of something that is a swamp in many ways? Yeah,” Hunter Biden said in the interview with ABC’s Amy Robach.

Hunter also admitted that he did not discuss the Burisma Holdings board seat with his father, except for one “brief exchange” that was previously reported. Joe Biden has denied on several occasions that “he has never discussed business with his son Hunter.”

Last month a photo surfaced that showed Joe Biden and Hunter golfing in the Hamptons with Devon Archer, who served on the board of the Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings with Hunter.

“I don’t regret being on the board. What I regret is not taking into account that there would be a Rudy Giuliani and a President of the United States that would be listening to this ridiculous conspiracy idea,” Hunter Biden said, claiming that the allegations of any wrongdoing have been “debunked by everyone.”

Robach asked Biden if he would have gotten the board seat if he had a different last name.”I don’t know, probably not,” Hunter admitted.

On Sunday, Hunter Biden announced he will be stepping down from the board of a Chinese equity fund and that he would not work for any foreign-owned companies if his father becomes president. (Continued Below)

GOP took to Twitter to respond to Hunter Biden’s interview:

President Trump proclaimed, “Hunter Biden was really bad on @GMA. Now Sleepy Joe has real problems! Reminds me of Crooked Hillary and her 33,000 deleted Emails, not recoverable!”

GOP Chairwoman, Ronna McDaniel, wrote, “Let me get this straight… Hunter Biden got $50K a month from a Ukrainian energy company, despite having ZERO experience in energy. His justification? That he was also on the board of Amtrak – more obvious nepotism. If that’s not the swamp, I don’t know what is!”

Donald Trump Jr. tweeted, “Dumpster fire at Biden HQ! ‘It is impossible for me to be on any of the boards I just mentioned without saying that I’m the son of the vice president of the US. I don’t think that there’s a lot of things that would have happen in my life that if my name wasn’t Biden’ Hunter Biden”.

Fox Business’ Charles Payne asked, “Did Hunter Biden essentially say don’t hate the player hate the game?”

Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, tweeted, “Just to be clear, this is Hunter Biden‘s pitch to the American people: Elect my dad and all of the corruption & self-dealing from when he was VP will stop Which will be fine for Hunter …He can just live off he (sic) millions he made the last time a Biden was in the White House”.

Kirk also noted: “Hunter Biden admits it all: He made a mistake He wouldn’t be on the Ukrainian oil board without his last name He had no qualifications to sit on the board He did discuss it with his father Rudy Giuliani caught him This isn’t some ‘conspiracy theory’.

Carpe Donktum joked, “Hunter: I sold my father’s political influence for personal profit. Media: Yes, the evidence proves you did, but it’s not a big deal. Don Jr: I never sold my father’s political influence for personal profit. Media: There is no evidence that you did, but you should be in jail.”
