Trump Gets The Last Laugh After Chuck & Nancy Storm Out Of WH & Tell Reporters He Had A ‘Meltdown’

The White House, on Wednesday, invited lawmakers of both parties and chambers of Congress to discuss President Trump’s decision to withdraw U.S. troops from northern Syria.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), however, told reporters that the President “had a “meltdown” and called House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) a “third-rate politician” during the meeting, to which, the President responded on Twitter getting the last laugh.

Just before lawmakers left for the meeting, the House passed a resolution in a 354-60 vote that rebuked Trump’s decision to retreat from Syria. “What we witnessed on the part of the president was a meltdown, sad to say,” Pelosi told reporters of the President pertaining to the House vote.

Schumer added that President Trump was “insulting” to Pelosi. “She kept her cool completely, but he called her a ‘third-rate politician’. He said that there are communists involved and you guys might like that. I mean, this was not a dialogue. It was sort of a diatribe, a nasty diatribe,” Schumer claimed.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX) also spoke to reporters a short time later. McCarthy called Pelosi’s behavior “unbecoming” and criticized her for “storming out.”

“The Speaker tries to make everything political,” McCarthy said, adding that he gives credit to Democrats who stayed after leadership left and that the meeting seemed “much calmer” and “much more productive” after that. (Continued Below)

President Trump responded on Twitter shortly after the meeting with a picture of the Democrats looking bitter, asking, “Do you think they like me?”

Then, he posted a picture of Pelosi standing up during the meeting and wrote, “Nervous Nancy’s unhinged meltdown!”

Next, the Commander in Chief tweeted a picture of the empty seats after Pelosi and Schumer stormed out the meeting and proclaimed, “The Do Nothing Democrats, Pelosi and Schumer stormed out of the Cabinet Room!” (Video Below)

Trump also shared Press secretary Stephanie Grisham’s post where she said, “@realdonaldtrump was measured & decisive today. @SpeakerPelosi walking out was baffling but not surprising w NO intention of participating in a [meeting] on [national] security. Dem ‘leadership’ chose to storm out & whine to cameras, everyone else stayed to work on behalf of our country.

The President also tweeted, “I’m fighting for the American people, but the Democrats’ sole focus is fighting against ME with their fraudulent Witch Hunt. Go to StopTheMadness.GOP and tell Democrats in Congress that Enough is Enough!
