Comedian and social media sensation, Terrence Williams, took to Twitter Tuesday to slam Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), who claimed her “presence tonight is resistance” at the State of the Union.
“This impeached president is not legitimate. I am attending tonight’s address not to confer any legitimacy on his actions, his statements, or his presidency. I am attending on behalf of all of those targeted by this President to say, ‘We are greater than hate.’ My presence tonight is resistance,” Omar tweeted.
Terrence Williams posted a video on Twitter slamming the Minnesota Congresswoman, arguing that “she is not legit,” and recommending that she “give her ticket to a veteran”.
“Girl! I know you are not the one talking,” Terrence expressed. “You’re not talking about somebody being legit. Ilhan Omar, you are not legit! There’s nothing legitimate about you. … President Trump is as real as it gets. But you, on the other hand, you know you’re fake and phony.”
“I don’t even know how you are in office. How did you even get elected in the first place?” He asked. “You don’t deserve to be office. You don’t have any respect for the president. You hate President Trump more than you love this country. So you do not need to be office,” he continued.
Terrence pointed out that Rep. Omar is “always talking about ‘hate this’ and ‘hate that'”, adding that she is the “real hater”. (Continued Below)
Terrence also recommended that if Rep. Omar did not want to be at the State of the Union, she should give her “ticket to a veteran”.
“How about that? If you don’t want to be at the State of the Union, give your ticket to a veteran. Give your ticket to somebody that deserves to be there, because you don’t deserve to be there at all– talking about you’re going to resist. If you don’t want to be there, then don’t go!” he exclaimed.
“Have some damn respect for this president!” Terrence declared. (Video Below)
Meanwhile, a number of Democrats have announced their intent to boycott the State of the Union: Reps. Al Green (D-TX), Steve Cohen (D-TN), Earl Blumenauer (D-OR), Hank Johnson (D-GA), Frederica Wilson (D-FL), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), and Maxine Waters (D-CA).
President Donald Trump will deliver his third State of the Union address Tuesday on the eve of the Senate’s impeachment trial vote.
Trump is expected to begin delivering his remarks at 9 p.m. EST and conclude before 10:30 p.m. There are a number of ways to watch the address live whether it’s using television, a computer or mobile devices. C-SPAN, CBS, ABC News, Fox and NBC will all broadcast the speech on their respective television channels. The live stream will also be available on C-SPAN’s website and each network’s mobile application, as per Newsweek.
